Bardo is a Payment Facilitator (aka Payment Service Provider ), providing credit cards payment processing services since 2001.

Bardo is PCI DSS compliant to ensure highest processing standards and data security. We are registered with VISA and MASTERCARD.

We provide first class services to our clients, through a dedicated team of experienced and multi-languages people.

Our staff is headed by CEO Laurent Alonzo, a 20-years veteran of the ecommerce and online processing industry.

Bardo was initially set up in France in 2001.

In 2008, Bardo relocated its operations in Mauritius, in order to expand its footprint into the African continent.

In January 2014, we have strengthened our agency in Nairobi, recruiting and training Kenyan people. The team in Kenya is now composed fully staffed with business development, marketing, accounting and technical competencies. The CEO also relocated to Nairobi, in order to lead operations and offer the best processing options and support to our clients.

Bardo has been experiencing the fast paced evolution of the payment industry, since its creation. We have implemented successful strategies to provide solutions to merchants and to entertain solid relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders in the ecosystem: banks, card providers, merchants, technology suppliers.

Because of its vast experience in securing payments, Bardo is able to control and dramatically mitigate the inevitable risks, though sophisticated proprietary processes and technologies.
